Serrade Petit
A small French breed and a genuinely obscure one, barely recorded outside its own country. Fine boned, short coated, and rarely seen at shows anywhere.

Overview
The Serrade Petit is a small French shorthaired cat that is barely documented outside France and not recognised by the major international registries. Reliable information about it is genuinely scarce.
What is described is a small, fine boned cat with a short close coat, large ears and a wedge shaped head, developed from French domestic stock. Beyond that, the honest answer is that this breed is poorly recorded.
Temperament
Described as affectionate, quiet and attached to its people, and as adaptable to indoor life. Reports suggest a cat that is sociable without being demanding.
That description should be read with the caveat that it comes from a very small number of sources. There is no substantial body of experience with this breed outside a small circle in France.
Care and grooming
A weekly brush for the short coat, on the basis of what the coat is rather than any breed specific guidance.
No documented breed specific disorder, which in this case reflects an absence of data rather than a demonstrated absence of problems. Those are different things and it is worth not confusing them.
Living and exercise
An ordinary indoor household would suit a cat of this size and type.
The practical position is that finding one outside France is very unlikely, and anyone who does find one is relying entirely on the seller. Twelve to fifteen years is the figure usually given.
